The librarian can assist you with accessing, evaluating, and using information.  The library supports the curriculum and fosters literacy skills.  Finding what you need in our library collection is easy with our online Destiny catalog.     The Essex High School Library mission is to meet the life-long learning needs of our students and staff through a teaching partnership that integrates information literacy with the curriculum standards of learning.

Monday - Friday:  8:20 - 3:15

Loan Policies
  • 2 weeks for general collection
  • Overnight loan for reference books
  • Limit of 3 books checked-out simultaneously

 Lost or Damaged Books
    Pay the cost of the book.
